Lila Neutre

Lila Neutre is a French photographer born in 1989. Having completed her PhD degree at École nationale supérieure de la photographie and Aix-Marseille University, she is currently coordinating the practice-based PhD program in Arles. Over a number of years, her work has been focused on notions of identity and self-presentation in contemporary societies. The social body assumes the role of the ultimate canvas in Lila’s artistic activity. Her research, both photographic and sociological, has been shown in various group exhibitions in France and abroad. Lila is a part-time faculty member of Parsons Paris design school and one of the first artists to join the FIMINCO residency program in Romainville, France.
